Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all deliveries of products and/or services from Tea Road ApS (seller) to any customer (buyer).

Purchase and reservations

The purchase is finally binding when the buyer has received an order confirmation from the seller.   Reservations are made for printing errors. 

For goods that are not in stock, reservations are made for price changes due to currency changes, force majeure, delivery failure, price increases at the supplier, sold-out items and printing errors. 

Reservations are also made for sold-out items and delayed delivery from the seller's suppliers. If it turns out that we cannot complete the order due to the aforementioned circumstances, we will notify the seller as soon as possible. 

The above reservations can be made even if the order confirmation has been sent.

Images on the website

Images on the website are indicative and do not necessarily show the correct size, layout, etc. Instead, reference is made to the written specification of size, weight, etc. for the item. 

Cancellation

As long as the buyer has not received an order confirmation for a purchase, the purchase can be canceled at any time by sending an e-mail to the contact e-mail at the top of this document.

The buyer will receive a confirmation of the cancellation as soon as possible.

After receipt of an order confirmation the buyer must contact the seller by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address at the top of this document.

Cancellation of Events

For Tea courses, Tea tastings, workshops and other events the following cancellation policy apply:

For cancellation up to 2 weeks before the event the participant will receive 75% of the fee back. 

For cancellation less than 2 weeks before the event the participant will receive 50% of the fee back.

In case of only 3 or less participants for an event the seller can decide to cancel the event.  In that case the particpants will get 100% of the fee back or can decide to join a later event.  

Prices

All prices on the website are stated in DKK incl. 25% Danish VAT. 

Payment

The following cards / payment methods are accepted:

  • Visa/Dankort
  • Mastercard
  • PayPal

The amount paid is withdrawn from the buyer's account as soon as the order is placed. 

If a payment is made with an international payment card (not Danish), a fee determined by the payment intermediary will be added. 

Credit

If, by agreement between the seller and the buyer, a purchase is made on invoice/credit, payment must be made within 8 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. 

If the purchase price is not paid on time, late payment interest of 2% per month of the outstanding debt at any time will be calculated from the due date. 

Shipping and delivery

Orders received on the webshop are delivered within Denmark. 

All orders are subject to delivery costs of DKK 49.00 within Denmark for packages up to 2 kg.   A separate delivery fee will be added for the Faroe Islands and Greenland.  Please contact us for deliveries outside Denmark. 

The customer chooses the carrier and delivery method at checkout.  The carrier's terms and conditions apply to the delivery. 

Expected delivery time from order date:

  • For goods in stock: 2-4 business days
  • For order goods: 6-10 business days 

Free collection of goods can be arranged with the seller in connection with courses and other events. 

Complaints regarding delivery must be reported in writing and no later than 2 days after receipt of the goods to the contact e-mail at the top of this document. 

Returns

Goods can be returned within 14 days of the buyer's receipt of the goods.   Returns must  be agreed with the seller before the goods are shipped by sending an e-mail to the contact e-mail at the top of this document

Returns must be made to the address below.  Returns to a mailbox or package shop are not accepted.

Tea can only be returned if the packaging has not been opened.  Other goods must be returned in the original packaging and be unused and undamaged.   

A copy of the delivery note or invoice must be enclosed.  Return shipping is paid by the buyer, unless the seller is responsible for a faulty delivery.

Complaints / Defects

A 1-year complaint period applies to goods having defects, from the invoice date.  When exercising the right to complain, the buyer must be responsible for shipping the product, including shipping costs.  Please refer to the Returns chapter above.

The buyer must immediately upon receipt of goods from the seller, conduct an examination of these.   If the buyer discovers defects in the delivered goods and wishes to claim this against the seller, the buyer must immediately after the defect has been discovered, notify the seller in writing of this and the nature of the defect, by sending an e-mail to the contact e-mail address at the top of this document. 

If the buyer does not notify immediately after a defect has been discovered or should have been discovered, the buyer forfeits the right to claim the defect against the seller. 

Defects resulting from abuse, unusual use or ordinary wear and tear cannot be claimed against the seller. 

The buyer's return of defective goods must be in the original packaging.   The returned goods must be new, unused and undamaged.   A copy of the delivery note or invoice must be enclosed.  

Delay 

The seller is not responsible for delay in delivery if the delay is due to the carrier or other external circumstances beyond the seller's control. 

However, the seller will do his best to resolve the problem in dialogue with the buyer.
