China Double Dragon Sheng Pu'er 120 gram

Nice 2019 compressed Sheng Pu'er cake made of the best leaves harvested at 1400 meters elevation at the Pu'er mountains of Yunnan.

The tea leaves are from the Junkan #10 cultivar and the finished tea has matured in Kunming since 2019.

The taste is smooth and fresh with sweet notes of dried peach and apricot, and a weak acid characterizing the first steeps.  The soup is golden yellow with a nice richness in the mouth.

The tea can be enjoyed now or stored for another 10-20 years to mature further.   This is a  nice Sheng Pu'er for daily consumption.

The Tea comes in compressed 120 gram cakes with convenient break-off lines providing easy access to 20 x 6 gram ready-to-brew pieces. 

Due to the compression the tea should have a quick "rinse" before brewing to loosen up.
