The dry leaves are bright, silvery-green and the brewed tea gets a light beige-yellow color getting a bit darker on the later brews.  This is a tea of pure leaf buds studded with fine hairs.

Picking the pure leaf buds at the right moment and also in a gentle way requires special skill. Specialist pluckers are therefore asked to go to the fields in spring and do just this one job.

The tea is grown in Guangxi at an altitude of 1000 meters
