Japan Gyokuro Konacha 100 gram

Great Uji Gyokuro Konacha at a very reasonable price.   Konacha Tea are the smaller leaves and stalks from the production of top-class Gyokuro.   It is therefore very good value-for-money if you want a sweet umami rich Gyokuro at a reasonable price.

Like other Gyokuro teas it is shaded for the last 3 weeks before harvest and only the top leaves and bud are used.   

At the end of the processing the leaves are sorted and the smaller leaves and stems etc. are removed before the Gyokuro tea is packed.   These smaller leaves and stems are called Konacha 粉茶 in Japanese and are sold separately.
