Japan Mountain grown Yame Kabusecha 100 gram

Very nice Kabusecha from Kurihara Tea farm in Fukuoka prefecture. 

This is one of my own favorites with a sweet and deep grassy/spinach taste and with  strong delicious umami.   Almost no bitterness or astringency.  A very good Tea at the price.

Kabusecha is shaded for 10-14 days before harvest, allowing the Tea leaves to mature without getting the slight bitterness that the unshaded Sencha teas often have.
