Very special and delicious premium "green" Hojicha from Sueyoshi Tea Atelier from Kagoshima in southern Japan.   

Hojicha is normally heavily roasted to give it a very dark nutty flavor, but the green Hojicha from Sueyoshi Tea Atelier is given a very light roast, until the leaves start to turn brown.

Due to the light roast the aroma has kept a slight sweetness from the green tea while, at the same time, having the light nutty roast flavor that many people like.   It is indeed a very rare and remarkable tea.
