Description

The Japanese Tea Intermediate Course is for you who have gained a good understanding of Japanese Tea and want to take your knowledge to next level and expand your knowledge and understanding.

 

The course is a hands-on course and cover topics like Japanese Tea industry, Tea regions, less known Tea kinds and Tea evaluation.

 

After the course you will have a much wider knowledge understanding of Japanese Tea, the Tea industry and the differences between the more rare Japanese Teas.  You will basicly be ready to go to Japan and select the good Teas.

  • Tea Brewing and Evaluation
  • Japanese Tea Culture
  • Lesser known Japanese Tea kinds:
    • Kabusecha
    • Fukamushicha
    • Tamaryokucha
    • Kamaicha
    • Wakoucha
    • Oolongcha

 

During the course you will taste 10-12 high quality Japanese teas 

 

We will use the book "Japanese Tea" by Simona Suzuki from Global Japanese Tea Association as basis.  If you don't have the book already (from the Foundation Course) you can buy it in our webshop.
