Description

Green tea has a long tradition in Japanese culture, and although both coffee and soft drinks have become part of everyday life, tea still holds a special meaning for many Japanese people.

Over the course of a few hours, we will take a journey through the history of Japanese tea, visit tea farmers and take a closer look at the cultivation and processing of Japanese tea, as well as what the future holds for an industry that has been hit hard by the effects of an aging population and declining sales.

We will also discuss how all of this relates to the recent shortage of Matcha. And then, of course, we will taste a few classic Japanese teas and get some good advice on how to brew a good cup of tea.

Fee

During the seminar we will be serving a cup of Japanese Tea, included in the fee
